Tissot PRX Powermatic 80

Tissot re-proposes an iconic design from the late 1970s, with an integrated case and bracelet. The case of the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 measures 40 mm in diameter. It has a slightly barrel shape and houses a smooth, thin and round bezel. The movement of the automatic Prx is a Tissot Powermatic 80 that offers 80 hours of power reserve.

Powermatic 80
An automatic watch works thanks to the energy of the wearer. It is in fact the movements of the wrist that allow the mechanism to work. The Powermatic 80 offers a power reserve of 80 hours, enough to continue to indicate the time accurately even after 3 days in which the watch is not worn. A movement that therefore proposes itself as innovative and performing compared to the competition, which usually offers a power reserve of one and a half days.

Waterproofing
All Tissot watch cases are subjected to numerous checks, including water resistance. Tissot tests the watch's ability to withstand shocks, pressure but also the penetration of liquids, gases and dust, reproducing the real conditions in which the watch could be.

Nivachron ™
As the magnetic fields generated by common electronic objects (mobile phone, computer, radio, magnets, etc.) are increasingly present in our daily life, in order to ensure the accuracy of their watches, Tissot has developed a new alloy of latest generation based on titanium. A Nivachron ™ coil is believed to be much more resistant and insensitive to magnetic fields than standard coils.
